Project Return to Angel Island is a potential Full-Game Edit Mod for Sonic 3 A.I.R., created by Sha Playsz & various others.

Story
Eggman is back on Angel island and wants to steal the Master Emerald once again. Knuckles once being aware of this tells Sonic. Once doing so, both Sonic and tails fly back to Angel island, meeting up with Knuckles to follow his tracks. Metal Sonic makes a stunning appearance kidnapping Amy and Knuckles too. (I don't know if it sounds confusing, but I tried my best to reword it in comparison to how it was originally said on the mod page)

Few notable features in this update:
• Angel Island is given a revamp.
• 2 special stages, also receiving art & layout improvements;
• Hydrocity is now complete;
• More cutscenes;
• Marble Garden 1 is available.

Keep in mind, Knuckles isn't available in this demo, but assuming he will be in the next demo.
