Meet Matt

Meet Matt Curran, our Leaving Cert Chemistry & Biology teacher. Matt is a dedicated Chemistry and Biology teacher with a strong academic foundation, holding degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Sports Science and Human Health, along with a Professional Master of Education from the esteemed Science with Education program at Maynooth University.

With extensive teaching experience, Matt has held multiple assistant principal roles and is a long-standing member of the Irish Science Teachers’ Association. He is passionate about inspiring a love of science and a commitment to lifelong learning in his students.

A goal-driven educator, Matt excels at making complex scientific concepts accessible by connecting them to real-world contexts. He places students at the centre of his teaching, tailoring lessons to individual needs and implementing both content-rich and exam-focused strategies to help each learner achieve their full potential, both in the Leaving Certificate and beyond.
