Anthony Krutzkamp illuminates the physical and mental complexities of transforming from a ballet student to a professional ballet dancer. These two performances break the surface of your perceptions of ballet… giving us a unique perspective into the often mysterious artistic journey of a professional ballet dancer. Two performances: Piece Meal, ensemble of Second company dancers and “Do not go darkly into that good night” a Modern Ballet solo performance by Katherine Sawicki.
The Kansas City Ballet Second Company will present two performances under the guidance of Anthony Krutzkamp, The KC Ballet Second Company Manager. These performances are beyond the unexpected… sure to break our preconceived notions of what is… true ballet.
