Top 5 most common mistakes I see with the choke setup on classic minis.

As a tuner, my job is to ensure your car is set up properly to operate in all types of weather conditions.
For cold weather operation, the choke system is needed to allow your car to start.
Proper setup and operation ensures that this system works smoothly and your car starts easily.

This is a short list of the top issues I see when I go out for a tune.

The Classic Mini Survival guide is a series of short videos where I will be breaking down various skills and tasks required to keep your classic mini in top running condition.

As I work on minis, I am constantly finding problems with general maintenance items such as spark plugs, valve gaps, ignition timing, etc...

I see these as tasks which any owner is capable of doing. My goal is to help those interested in doing the work themselves. The key is to do it correctly!

My goal with this series is to educate and inform the Mini community so that we keep more of these cars on the road. The better they run, the more they get used and appreciated by others.
