3 years since diagnosed with ALS

Well it's been three years since diagnosed with this lovely disease, i unfortunately progressed much faster than expected, Last year once I noticed I was on a fast track, losing 100% ability to talk, and also losing most of my mobility to move, I'm shocked, but yet I am thankful to still be here, and extremely greatful for technology to be able to still communicate with everyone,

I was definitely skeptical about getting a tracheostomy, but the more I thought about it, i personally want to be here to watch my kid's grow up, to guide them and teach them along the way, and I'd also like to still help families effected with this terrible disease with my non-profit, paint for a cure, especially now since the FDA let those of us living with ALS down this holiday season not giving us access to nerown, so now this gives me a purpose to continue living, I have only just begun, there's so much more I'd wish to do for others, I will definitely have struggles, and want to give up along the way, but to me it's worth trying, and I can always except death at anytime, so despite being diagnosed the day before Thanksgiving, I'm very thankful to still be here, and hopefully for many more years to come,
