Becoming Moebius. From Gir to Moebius, navigating Jean Giraud's early work.

Diventare Moebius (Becoming Moebius) released by Edizioni BD is actually the translation of the French edition from 2019 ‘De Gir a Moebius: Le Lac des émeraudes’ (From Gir to Moebius: The Emerald Lake).

A collection of Moebius’ early works ranging between 1956 and 1979, this book covers a more than 20 years period where we can witness his stylistic evolution. Sporting a fantastic collection of works which are almost never seen by the public, beginning from his early years, where his artistic talent was still in its “seed state”, and continuing into when it bloomed and grew into the work that we all know today.
