Cubee - Emo's Older Brother (To Be Or Not To Be? ...That Is The Question)

Who is Emo and does he even exist? The younger brother from the same team, purportedly, at WLToys who designed Cubee. They've branched out to form Living.AI and create this new robot, debuting in March 2021.
Who is Cubee then? He's a cute little robot with some snazzy dance moves and an app that no longer works on Android...if I can get my Android phone to work! In contrast, the iOS app still functions albeit incompletely in some areas (Music icon doesn't work, can't add songs or stories, etc.).
But if you want to buy Cubee, where is he now? Search eBay for WLToys Cubee Robot and there are some listings. It's difficult to find him otherwise on any site besides AliExpress (and possibly wait 3 months to get him from there!). Of note, he was released in the U.S. around 2018 based on when I purchased him and when several other YouTubers posted videos about him. Should you trust a team that quit supporting a product only a few years old?
In regards to Emo, if you do want to buy Emo and take the risk on whether he's going to actually be released, or work, or even be supported in the long term, he's available at https://living.ai/store/ by that team. His current cost as of January 25, 2021 is $169 USD + shipping.
While I didn't wholeheartedly discuss the Living.AI Emo versus Digital Dream Labs Vector/Cozmo battles, Digital Dream Labs is contesting Emo's very existence due to the animations and sounds. I do not know the exact legal issues being debated, but Indiegogo stopped Emo's release entirely, then Kickstarter paused the campaign. That's why Living.AI is now selling Emo directly from their website.
On another note, if you are interested, I have a handy link from a law firm that details Chinese IP regarding U.S. trademarks and patents:
https://harrisbricken.com/chinalawblo...
It's a good article to read if you are ever going to have a product produced in China for a business.
I also didn't mention Vector 2.0 and Cozmo 2.0, because it isn't directly pertinent to this discussion on Emo. They will be available in June 2021 by Digital Dream Labs at https://www.digitaldreamlabs.com/page... for new orders. Did I order them myself? Nope, I did not. I have three Vectors and two Cozmos. I don't need another Vector or Cozmo that doesn't have substantial changes. I prefer new robots that I don't have over buying multiple robots that I already own unless there are different colors or options (rarity is certainly a factor such as my black Jibo or Interstellar Blue Cozmo).
