ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਮੇਰੀ "ਮੈਂ" ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਕੋਈ, ਦਿਸਦੇ ਪਸਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ।

ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਰਸਤਾ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਨੇ ਮੀਲ-ਪੱਥਰ, ਪਰ,
ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਿੰਨਾ, ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਰਮਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ,
ਬੜਾ ਕੁਝ ਬੋਲ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ।

ਥਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਉਛਾਲਾ ਲੋਚਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ,
ਨਦੀ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ।

ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਪੀਂਘ ਤੋਂ ਲਹਿ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਲੈਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕੀ,
ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦੱਸਾਂ ਕਿ ਮਸਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਹੁਲਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
