Linear Guide and Lead Screw Actuator - Assembly Instruction

In this video we show how to assemble our C-Beam based Lead Screw Actuator. The Actuator is using 8mm ACME Lead Screw and HGH15 Linear Guide System mounted on OpenBuilds C-Beam rail. The Gantry Plat is designed for this build the remaining parts are off the shelf OpenBuilds parts.

Apart from the Linear Guides and Gantry plate we have added two Disk Springs to the tensioning of the ACME rod. We have experienced that if the set screw in the Tensioning nut hit the side of the ACME thread it can tilt resulting in uneven pressure on the Thrust Bearing. Adding two disk springs - like () - this issue can be eliminated.
