Now that the faming for the base is completed, it's time to move on to the flooring. We started with rough lumber we got from a local sawmill. We decided on a 10"/6" alternating board pattern. After planing the boards, we sanded them and washed any marks left over from the planing process. We then put a weatherproofing on the bottoms and sides of all the boards (the tops will get 2 coats after installation), then it was time to lay them! As a reminder, neither of us are anywhere near being experienced carpenters, just DIYers, figuring this out as we go, so don't be too hard on us please!
