The live version of ‘Love in Vain’ on 'Get yer Ya-ya’s out' was recorded at the Civic Centre in Baltimore on November 27th, 1969. Mick Taylor was in sublime form and this remains for me, the best slide solo of all time.

I tabbed the solo out recently, played in the other instruments (great bass playing Bill) and tried to get as close as I could to the original. In this video I pass on some tips to play the solo.
