Today’s video is a whole trip, man. I hopped on Steam and found this game called LOST CHILD, and bro… it took me on an actual emotional rollercoaster. You ever play a game where you think it’s gonna be super chill and simple, and then suddenly you’re knee-deep in some mysterious story with creepy energy, weird characters, and those moments where you’re like, “Wait… am I supposed to be scared right now or am I overthinking it?” That’s exactly what LOST CHILD felt like. I love finding these random Steam games that completely surprise me because they always end up being the ones I can’t stop thinking about afterward.
LOST CHILD has this vibe that’s part mystery game, part thriller, part psychological horror, and part “you should probably not play this alone at night but here we are.” It throws you right into this strange world where you’re trying to figure out what happened to this missing kid, and everything around you feels slightly off. The atmosphere is super eerie, the music is unsettling in the best way, and the whole thing feels like one big puzzle that you slowly peel back layer by layer. If you’re into indie horror games, new Steam horror releases, emotional story games, or anything with creepy little plot twists, this one is gonna hit the spot.
The further I got into it, the more I felt like I was exploring someone’s memories or dreams — but like… the nightmare versions. The game has that classic “slow burn” tension where nothing jumps at you too early, but everything feels wrong. I swear every time I walked into a room I was ready to sprint. And you know me — as soon as something makes a weird noise, my soul leaves my body. That’s the Guava Juice tradition at this point.
Steam always has these hidden indie gems that just go crazy with atmosphere, and LOST CHILD is definitely one of them. It gives off that same energy as those viral itch.io horror games that look simple at first but end up being some of the creepiest things you’ve ever played. The story slowly pulls you in, and I love games like that because it feels like you’re watching a movie and playing a game at the same time. You get those “ohhh no way” moments where everything starts connecting and suddenly you’re invested like it’s the season finale of your favorite show.
I’m not gonna lie, some parts of this game had me stressed. There’s something about searching for a missing child in a horror environment that just hits different. The game doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares either — it’s more like psychological tension, eerie environments, clues that don’t feel right, and that quiet dread building up in the background. If you’re into story-driven horror games, mystery adventures, Steam indie titles, or anything that slowly gets under your skin, this is definitely one of those.
Honestly, this is why I love playing random Steam games for the channel. You never know what you’re gonna get. Sometimes it’s goofy and chaotic, sometimes it’s deep and emotional, sometimes it’s straight-up nightmare fuel — and sometimes it’s all three at once. LOST CHILD really surprised me with how atmospheric and emotional the story got. I love when horror games mix actual feelings with the creepy stuff because it makes everything feel way more intense.
So grab a snack, get comfy, and vibe with me as I dive into this mysterious world and try to figure out what happened to this kid. There were moments where I genuinely had no idea what was going on, and other moments where I was like “oh yeah… this game is absolutely cooking.” If you enjoy Steam horror games, emotional storytelling, creepy indie titles, or just hanging out while I scream at things that may or may not even be threats, you’re in the perfect place.
Thanks for hanging out with me and watching me explore another weird and wild game. LOST CHILD definitely gave me chills but in a good way. Let’s get into it — this is gonna be a journey. Enjoy :)
