Kenshi - Rock Bottom - Episode 9 - "Holy Nation Assault" | Can I Survive?

Welcome back to The Rat’s Nest! In this episode of our Kenshi Rock Bottom One-Armed Survivor Permadeath Run, our lone wanderer wakes up in yet another cage — still trapped in the desert city of Stoat, still injured, and still desperately trying to claw his way to freedom. The Great Desert hasn’t gotten any kinder.

We survey the ruins of Sho-Battai, navigate the razor-thin tension between the United Cities and the Holy Nation, and attempt a stealth escape under the noses of heavily armed samurai guards. Our encumbrance is high, our arm is mangled, our stats are marginal… but somehow we keep surviving by a thread.

As we sneak through shadows, train strength under heavy load, and test our luck with lockpicking in broad daylight, things escalate fast. We get spotted. Knocked out. Arrested. Freed. Arrested again. Nearly killed. And then the unexpected happens:

A Holy Nation assault hits the city of Stoat.

And all hell breaks loose.

Caught between slavers, samurai, apothecaries, thieves, and an ongoing siege, our one-armed survivor must use every bit of toughness, stealth, and grit to stay alive — and maybe escape once and for all.
