The lowland Nyala is often found around water. With a vast array of rivers and streams in the Eastern Cape, high angled shots off a rock face are a common occurrence.
After spotting the bull from a ways off, the diesel stalk was engaged. Using the vehicle we drove to the top of the cliff and walked over.
To our surprise the bull popped out the brush at a mere 50 yards, however the 60 degree angle would offer a good challenge.
