From listening to several of Shep Fields recordings it’s clear that his introduction riffs are always more or less the same. He often used the bubble sound as in this record. The sound of his arrangements must have been the inspiration for Lawrence Welk’s orchestrations and style into the 1980s.

Bobby Goday:
Bobby Goday was a 1930s vocalist who sang with Shep Fields and His Rippling Rhythm Orchestra, notably performing vocals on the 1937 Disney hit "Whistle While You Work" and "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down". He is also known by the name Bob Goday and appeared on numerous compilations of 1930s popular music.
