Authorities to reveal social distancing measures that will be imposed starting Monday

What are we expecting to happen starting Monday especially as we face the Chuseok holidays later this month?

Right Mok-yeon, in just a few hours... the government will announce its decision on whether to extend or adjust social distancing measures that will go into effect starting Monday.
Seoul and its surrounding areas have been at the highest level four, with the rest of the country at level three for the past eight weeks... and we will likely see another extension.
Unlike last time around, this extension may well be for about a month as the Chuseok Holidays are just about three weeks away, and during every previous major holiday, the government has tried to impose certain measures to minimize movement.
Now there are also some reports saying that we can expect some additional vaccine incentives.
Currently, after 6 PM only a group of up to 4 can meet if at least two in the group are vaccinated.
If not, only two are allowed to be together.
Maybe we'll see the limit on the number of people at gatherings increased... as was recommended by the social distancing rules advisory committee earlier this week.
And the limit could even be extended in time for the Chuseok Holidays... which start on September 20th... so some vaccinated citizens could visit family members.
In addition, two weeks ago, closing times for on-site dining at restaurants and cafes in level four areas such as Seoul and the surrounding areas changed to 9 PM from 10 PM... but that may be also changed back to 10 PM due to growing complaints from small business owners who have been financially affected by the rule.
But again, these were only recommendations by the expert panel, and we'll have to wait for the official government announcement in just a couple of hours.
