The Unveiling Facts of Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves | 33 Caves | Bhubaneswar | Indian Bush

Bhubaneswar is an ancient city in India’s eastern state of Odisha, formerly Orissa.

Many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city.

Udayagiri has 18 caves, while Khandagiri has 15 caves. These caves, collectively known as the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, are located near Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

They were primarily carved out during the reign of King Kharavela to serve as residences for Jain ascetics.

Definite Visit if you're in Bhubaneswar...You can trekk both of them and worth visiting the place where jains meditate
