Child is Father of the Man - The Beach Boys "SMiLE" - Instrumental Cover

My arrangement of the underrated 1967 Beach Boys song "Child is Father of the Man". It is always nervous to cover your favorite songs, as you feel that they are already perfect as they are. Therefore the only thing you can do is to do them in a slightly different style or arrangement, which I've done here, while still trying to keep true to the original "feel", that was originally intended for SMiLE.

R.I.P. Brian Wilson (1942-2025)

Brian was my favorite composer and producer, with some of the best songs ever written in his catalog. I have always liked his unusual and innovative chord progressions and choice of instruments, and the unfinished 1967 album SMiLE is in my opinion the best piece of musical work ever recorded, even in its unfinished form. It was, as he said himself: "a teenage symphony to God".
