The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday issued its initial response to the controversy linked to Bangladesh’s demand to stage its T20 World Cup fixtures outside India. After the meeting, Saikia was questioned on Bangladesh moving the International Cricket Council (ICC) to request a relocation of its T20 World Cup matches away from India after the BCCI told IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders to release Mustafizur Rahman amid prevailing diplomatic tensions between the two countries at present time.
