Bertone Concept Cars - Prototypes and One-Offs that you have forgotten or never seen [SUB]

Bertone's superb selection of Concept Cars was exhibited at the Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2021 show at the Padua fair. The exhibition entitled "Universo Bertone" hosted in the ASI Village space is an excellent opportunity to retrace the design evolution and the inventiveness that represented this great Italian coachbuilder. We recall that famous stylists such as Marcello Gandini and Giorgetto Giugiaro have worked for Bertone. From the 1969 Runabout, which anticipated the shape of the next Fiat X1/9, to the elegant 2011 Jaguar B99 sedan, we can realize the validity of these projects not only from an aesthetic point of view but for many of them, actual constructive feasibility. Alas almost always ignored, unfortunately. Enjoy! 😉

Una splendida selezione di Concept Cars realizzate da Bertone sono state esposte al salone Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2021 presso la fiera di Padova. La mostra intitolata "Universo Bertone" ed ospitata nello spazio ASI Village è un'ottima occasione per ripercorrere l'evoluzione del design e l'inventiva che ha rappresentato questa grande carrozzeria italiana. Ricordiamo che per Bertone hanno lavorato famosi stilisti quali Marcello Gandini e Giorgetto Giugiaro. Dalla Runabout del 1969 che chiaramente ha anticipato la linea della successiva Fiat X1/9 fino alla elegante berlina Jaguar B99 del 2011 possiamo renderci conto della validità di questi progetti non solo sotto l'aspetto estetico ma anche, per molti di questi, una reale fattibilità costruttiva. Ahimè quasi sempre ignorata, purtroppo. Buona visione! 😉
