Rami (Stoning) on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah:

⨳ If you left Mina after performing Rami on the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah, Rami on the 13th is not obligatory. However, if you prefer to return only after performing Rami on the 13th (which is the recommended practice), stay in Mina during the night following the 12th and perform Rami at all three Jamarat after the time for Dhuhr prayer on the 13th, then proceed to Makkah.
⨳ Performing Rami on the 13th is Sunnah. However, if you remain in Mina until the break of dawn (Fajr) on the 13th, or for any reason, you are in Mina at the break of dawn on the 13th, then Rami on the 13th becomes obligatory for you. Perform Rami at all three Jamarat following the same method as on the 11th and 12th of Dhul-Hijjah. This is mandatory.
⨳ The recommended time for Rami on the 13th is from the start of Dhuhr prayer time until sunset. Performing it before Dhuhr prayer time is permissible but disliked (Makrooh Tanzihi).

Virtue of Rami:
⨳ Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “For whoever stones the Jamarat, there will be a light for them on the Day of Resurrection.”
(Reported by Al-Bazzar – Sahih al-Targhib 1157)
⨳ Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “With every pebble thrown at the Jamarah, a major sin is forgiven.”
(Reported by Al-Tabarani in Al-Kabir, Al-Bazzar, and Ibn Hibban in his Sahih; similarly reported by Al-Tabarani in Al-Awsat)

Return to Makkah:
⨳ If you wish to go to your residence after performing Rami on the 12th, you may do so. If you prefer to go on foot, you can proceed from the Jamarat Complex toward your residence based on its location. For Hajj pilgrims, transportation to their residences is arranged by the Hajj office (Maktab) from the office gates at scheduled times on the 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah. There is no crowding during Rami on the 13th. You can perform Rami comfortably and then proceed to your residence. In fact, it is recommended to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ by performing Rami on the 13th before returning to your residence.
