First hand account and commentary from David Batty who lives near the town of Bermagui on the far south coast of NSW, Australia. With his own home under threat just out of town David evacuates into Bermagui only to find the town and its locals under immense pressure from an aproaching bush fire front that had left Cobargo a smouldering mess. These moments and the progression of the fire and firefighters are pitched against David trying to save his own home.
