This video is a tutorial showing a tried and true method for creating an elf or Santa face in polymer clay. In this video, I demonstrate how to sculpt a face where the eyes can be removed easily for molding using acrylic eyes that are very affordable compared to glass eyes but are not oven safe. We will finish the head, remove the eyes and bake the head, then I will show several ways to attach the beard and mustache. Please give my video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it. This same head can be used on an ornament, in a wreath, as part of a mixed media piece, as Santa, a Wizard, a Greenman, Dryad, or old man winter. It will work wonderfully with Powertex and Paverpol projects as well. Seal the clay with Powertex or use this same technique but with paper clay. I hope you enjoy the tutorial.
In this video, I use Prosculpt polymer clay in Fairy light color which is available from www.artdolls.com
