Albi with perfect cuteness and gentle love off the charts!

You know those dogs that you meet that make you really think about adding another dog to your home because the perfection is undeniable? This is that dog! Holy heck if Albi isn’t built to bring smiles and sweetness to this world I dont know what is. From the pinky perfect nose to his friendly nature with literally everything and everyone he meets, he is a dream! My cheeks sincerely were sore after spending the afternoon with him because of how much I had been smiling. He is friendly, loving, playful, wonderfully happy-go-lucky and eager-to-please. He leans in for affection, literally melts for belly rubs or booty scratches and looks into your eyes like he knows you hung the moon. Albi is the dog who will make your non-dog friends reconsider their stance.

Albi met a load of new people during a recent visit to my office and it was amazing to see how welcoming he was. He opened up right away with new humans, tail wagging, kisses on the ready and with those sparking eyes. The only way I would tell you Albi may not be your dream dog is if you do not like being social and hate affection and being adored.

Now, don’t get me wrong- he is perfect but he is also growing out of his puppy days so he still has a little learning to do. He needs a bit of leash work, practice and encouragement and a positive person makes all the difference in his leash manners. The other area where he is still growing and learning is about the big, wide world. Toys? No clue. A creaky dresser drawer? Spooky! The car? Fun but pretty sure it is a portal. In other words, he still has a lot of firsts ahead of him. How did I figure this out? Well, I accidentally startled him with a bouncy ball and again later with a stuffie. After my sincere apologies and a little love he was back to his happy self but imagine being the one to watch him figure out how fun toys are!? My heart cant handle the sweetness just imagining it. He’s a bright, treat-motivated dog who responds beautifully to kind guidance so do not be discouraged- it’s incredibly sweet to watch him experience the world with you by his side.

Albi is the kind of dog who… shines with dog friends. He was fantastic meeting a whole crew of dogs during play group. He immediately welcomes a new dog then follows it with an invite to play. His play bow is so cute and everything in his body is friendly and welcoming. The best part was not only can he match playful energy but when he met a dog that just wasn’t playful, he respected that. When the playful pups come out? He matches their energy with zooms and happy doggie games.
Albi met our house cat and he put his best foot forward. He was a little unsure but cautiously friendly and curious. He leaned in to sniff Biggie, our house cat, gently and never reacted out of fear. With guidance and exposure, he could learn to coexist with a confident, respectful cat.

A boy like Albi just screams suburban dream! I can picture him and his doggie pal bouncing around the back yard together, him greeting kids as they get off the school bus, and becoming a neighborhood favorite during his walks. A medium-energy dog buddy would be an excellent match for play and companionship. But don’t get me wrong, Albi is so easy-going that it is easy to imagine him being happy in a wide variety of homes- he just needs his people.

This boys joyful, affectionate nature shines right through and we know he is growing into a playful dream companion. Albi is ready to explore the big wide world with you by his side. Welcome Albi home and experience his magic first hand and forever.
