FM DX R101 Siracusa 101.7 MHz From Malta [Tropo]. It was caught on 17/06/2023 at around 00:30 AM (UTC+2). Moderate tropo towards parts in Sicily. It was next to local Calypso Radio 101.8 MHz and the TEF6686 being with the telescopic antenna, the effort was being made to maintain reception audibility. The LNA 5.0 was switched on during some of the time but did not make any difference. It did not reach RDS levels. It seems that transmission moved from Rosolini FM Transmitter to Avola FM Transmitter nowadays as during that time, it hosted an unknown transmission power which was 115 kilometres away towards Siracusa. 73 😊
