This video shows how we went about replacing a bad wheel bearing on an e90 328xi with a rusted out axle nut. A common problem on BMWs from this era, water gets trapped behind the wheel center caps and corrodes the axle nuts to the point of disintegration. If this goes on for too long, the axle nut, hub, and output shaft rust weld into one solid piece and need to be entirely replaced. In this video we show how we replaced these components with junk yard parts. This video contains the information to do this on most BMWs but is an exact repair method for most if not all e9x cars from this era.
