In this video, I showcase my entire Air Max 1 Collection. This includes three of the four colourways that released for the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 1, namely the Red, Blue and Obsidian colourways. Others include the Watermelon colourway, the Dover Street Market collaboration, the Dark Curry colourway, a retro of a previous Atmos collaboration, and the Pompidou Night colourway. I also briefly touch on the Master Colourway, which also released as part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations.

For each sneaker, I touch on the history and story behind the colourway, how I came about getting the sneaker, and whether I'll be keeping or selling it.

The Nike Air Max 1 originally released in 1987, and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. While many Nike sneakers already had Air technology embedded in their soles, such as the Nike Tailwind, the Air Force 1, as well as the Air Jordan 1, the Air Max 1 was the first sneaker where the Air unit was visible!

Hatfield was inspired by the Pompidou Centre in Paris, which featured a unique "inside out" design. The Air Max 1 was a historic sneaker, and left a huge legacy behind, as can be seen in the every growing Air Max family of shoes, including shoes such as the iconic Air Max 90, Air Max 97, as well as more contemporary choices such as the Vapormax, the Air Max 270, and the Air Max 720. That being said, the Air Max 1 is still as popular as ever, 33 years on from its original release.
