The theater game "Hitchhiker" allows students to practice the skills of 1) listening and responding to their fellow actors, 2) committing fully to an action, and 3) creating and playing unusual character traits. It's part of the free creative dramatics curriculum created by Curtains Up -- a training program for young actors sponsored by Friends of the Groom Theater Company.
