Welcome to another gathering at the Pipers' table! Today I am firing up a rare estate pipe I purchased on Ebay. A St Claude Ben Wade Calabash. It had a Crack wrapping about 80% of the shank, so I thoroughly coated it with a specialized furniture epoxy- which seems to have done the trick!
Wonderlok'em W2081 Tite Chair Glue - this is the product I used for the repair. if you have any cracked pipes, give it a try!
