If you are having issues with your horn or steering wheel controls on your 350Z or G35, then more than likely your clock spring needs to be replaced. These parts can break when installing aftermarket steering wheels if you are not careful. That was the issue I had with my 350Z when I purchased it. The previous owner swapped the steering wheel out for an aftermarket wheel and damaged the clock spring in the process.
Replacing this part may seem like a daunting task, but its actually a lot easier than it looks!
