Scrapping out this chandelier I came across some metal that wasn't magnetic. 99.9% of the time that means it's zinc diecast. Sure enough! So I said "what the heck" and I melted it up quick. I don't do it because of "profit", or anything else other than I feel like doing it. It's also metal that a lot of people don't mess with, especially how it was positioned on this light.....guys would have just thrown it into shred. That's the kick I get out of it - to end up with something cool that would have been forgotten by most people.
