Cristin Milioti Interview: In Your Dreams, Being a Swiftie, and Her Favorite Animated Movie

Earlier this year, the latest batch of Emmys was awarded, and several winners more than deserved their prize. Among them was a first trophy for the ever-brilliant Cristin Milioti, who took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role in HBO's critical hit The Penguin. Now, just a couple of months on, Milioti is back on our screens, although in an altogether different capacity.

Milioti is one of several big-name stars, from Craig Robinson and Simu Liu to Omid Djalili and Zachary Noah Piser, to lend their voice to Netflix’s In Your Dreams, an animated tale set to send audiences young and old into a vibrant dream world. With Milioti admitting that the film "went through a lot of iterations over these four years," it's clear that plenty of love and affection have gone into this animated adventure, helmed by Alex Woo and co-director Erik Benson​​​​​​.

Ahead of the movie's release, Collider's Steve Weintraub sat with Milioti to chat about In Your Dreams, with the Emmy winner discussing her recent triumph, her love of Taylor Swift, her time making the film, and much more.
