A compilation of shots taken of this years Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's Santa Specials in Dublin 2019.
This year V Class steam locomotive number 85 'Merlin' was used between Connolly and Maynooth to haul the many trips that took place.
As well as steam runs there was the few occasional night time diesel trips to Maynooth which were all hauled by Irish Rail 071 class locomotives, retro liveried 073 made hauled the first weekend of the Santa Specials.
All shots were taken at various locations between Dublin Connolly and Maynooth.
Due to the Santa Specials running to Maynooth almost every year I decided to cut back on the number of shots taken this year as I have covered almost every spot and it would have become very repetitive.
Overall this years Santa Specials went very well and I was happy enough with how the shots came out.
This concludes the RPSI's Dublin Operations running season for 2019.
