The CUPRA Leon VZ PHEV got a 4-in-line 1498cc gasoline engine with a turbo, combined with an 85kW electric motor and a 19,7 kWh battery (usable capacity). It got front-wheel-drive (FWD), a combined 268 bhp / 272 ps (200 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. This plug-in hybrid car accelerates in 7,1 seconds to 100 kmh (official number).
