Recorded during the final moments of the evening at Ventana al Jazz in San Juan, Puerto Rico, this performance was completely spontaneous.
After the set had ended, the audience asked for one more piece. Without rehearsal or preparation, Lannie Battistini began to play, and the musicians instinctively followed. In a matter of seconds, the ensemble locked into a unified musical language—creating a moment of pure improvisation, connection, and shared intuition.
This “Farewell” captures the essence of jazz: trust, listening, and the magic of musicians moving as one.
