The Granite way Ride joining onto the Pegasus Way. Then the evening Tavistock Tractor Rally

A SUNNY FRIDAY - A RIDE ALONG THE GRANITE WAY AND THE PEGASUS TRAIL - A VERY HOT PIZZA AT THE PUMP & PEDAL - AN EVENING WATCHING THE TAVISTOCK TRACTOR RALLY

A sunny ride to start with on a Friday afternoon...12th December. It started from near the Castle Inn pub in Lydford, then heading up through the village to the start of the Granite Way. From there I carried on to the Pump and Pedal at Sourton. After having lunch, and a very HOT pizza, (you can see how hot it is in the video) I carried on to find the Pegasus Trail. This is a new trail for me. I didn't even know that it existed until someone told me about it. Something different and a really nice ride, I only rode a few miles along the trail before I had to turn back as I was up against time. The next time I will make sure that I have time to ride all of the trail. When I got back to the van I then headed home with enough time for Uschi and I, and Heather to go and see the Tavistock Tractor Rally. The video of the Rally continues after the video of my bike ride. It is in two parts - the second half I videoed is double speed. It's worth watching as a lot of work has gone into some of the tractors for the show.
