A wave of disappointment has swept through devotees visiting Puri's Jagannath Temple as they can no longer touch the sacred Aruna Stambha near the Singhadwara. The Srimandir administration has recently replaced the old iron grills with 4-foot-high brass barricades, citing preservation and long-term safety of the historic structure.
