Flashlamp pumped Rhodamine B dye laser

The laser has a super radiant emission.
This is because that the dye concentration is too high and the diameter of the tube containing the dye behaves as a waveguide to which promotes super radiant emission!
The laser is provided with a rear mirror and an output window glass having a reflectance of 14%.
For a laser beam with a spatial coherence it is necessary to reduce the concentration of the dye, to an output mirror with a reflectance of 80% and a diaphragm to select the transverse mode.
