Do your Omoplatas suck? Do you get crushed when you try them? Have you given up on the Omoplata? This is the technique for you!
Here I show a transition to the Hip Bump from the Omoplata! Even people that have trouble with the Omoplata can do this technique! It works against the most common defense, the hop to the other side.
Then I show a really great submission from the Shoulder sit, one of my favorites and highest percentage.
Please go slowly when doing the submission. You may feel like you understand the technique and you may make someone tap. But the thigh placement and the pinch is really really really tight and when done correctly increases the pressure on the shoulder lock (or sometimes elbow) considerably. Go slowly until you understand the movement to avoid hurting your partners.
