Mince Pilau | Perima's Kitchen Recipe!
Ingredients:
Rinse 2 in a half cups of basmati rice then soak it in boiling water.
Boil 3/4 cup lentils or use 1 can of lentils
Oil
1 Large Onion
Green chillies
Whole Spices:
1 Star anise & 1 stick of Cinnamon
Bay leaves
Ground Spices:
1.5 - 2tbs Chilli Powder
2tbs Masala
1tsp Coriander / Dhania powder
1tsp Cumin / Jeera powder
0.25tsp Cardamon / Elachi / powder
1tsp Turmeric
2tsp Ginger & garlic
Half cup of Yogurt / Mass (optional)
500grams Mince (Lamb)
Salt
4/5 Potatoes or add Boiled eggs
Egg yellow for rice
Lentils (1 can) or Boiled lentils
Fresh Cilantro / Coriander / Dhania & Mint
3 - 4tbs Melted butter
Serve with Raita (recipe video included with the mince pilau)
