2024 Toyota Corolla XSE Sedan: Start Up, Walkaround, Test Drive and Review

👋 Take a look at the 2024 Toyota Corolla XSE! This sporty looking little compact car has an aggressive front end design and almost looks like the GR Corolla. While the normal Corolla doesn't really have any performance since it packs a 2.0L inline 4 cylinder with 169 horsepower and a CVT, it still looks cool! This 2024 Corolla XSE is finished in Ruby Flare Pearl and has an MSRP around $30,000. Crazy to see how $30k used to get you a 3 row SUV and now its what compact cars cost! However the 2024 Corolla XSE sedan is pretty nice overall and has sharp styling. The interior gets the Softex seats with read accents. This Corolla Sedan is actually pretty roomy and comfortable and nice to drive. Other cars in this class feel too cramped for me and my legs always feel crammed in the foot wells. So I like how the Corolla does a better job with sizing and still being a compact car. It gets up to speed fine and pretty much drives like you would expect. Not a bad option for a compact car. However for about $3k more you can get the new 2025 Camry SE which to be honest is probably a better buy since it get twice the MPG and is more spacious. So the Corolla while looking good, is a nice chunk for a basic car.
