With 125 bus routes running into Greater London overnight, it's hard to keep track of them all. I've managed to only forget about 2 routes this series, and this week we'll be looking at one of them in the form of the 222 between Hounslow and Uxbridge via Harlington Corner, Sipson, and Yiewsley. Operated by Metroline London, the 222 is a fairly major route for West London's suburbia, but often falls under the radar- as it did for me until now. Its place in the overnight network at first seems a little bit odd as neither Hounslow nor Uxbridge particularly need connecting to each other overnight, and already have decent connections into Central London, but the route does provide crucial overnight services to West Drayton, Yiewsley, and Brunel University.
