Predictive Maintenance in Pharma Manufacturing

Predictive Maintenance (PdM) is a topic that has been discussed for long. However it is not seen widely in actual implementation. The high cost of sensors acted as one constraint. A bigger challenge was the need to invest in a Centre of Expertise (CoE) staffed with engineers having long years’ experience in this field, before an organization could begin expecting results. Today a few startups have commenced offering remote prediction as a service. Wireless based sensors have recently become available and they enable a trained engineer to monitor critical equipment in a plant from a remote location.

In this webinar we will discuss two approaches to Predictive Maintenance and the pros and limitations of each. We will also learn how PdM can be an integral part of Digitalizing an organization’s operations.

Milind Yedkar (  / milindyedkar  ) is the co-Founder & CEO of Singapore based startup AccuPredict (https://accupredict.io/) that offers remote Predictive Maintenance service to organisations around the world. He has forty years’ business experience in Operations, Marketing and Sales. He has worked in Global Fortune 50 Corporations in a variety of roles in India, Japan, China and Singapore before venturing out on his own. By education Milind is a graduate from IIT Bombay with an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
