Day 13 of the Manitoulin Island road-building project, and this one was a grind. Starting late in the day and finishing as the light faded, I tackled the bottom of the incline — the hardest section yet.

There were rocks everywhere — easily 1000 moved — along with some stubborn tree stumps that had to go to make room for grading. The Kubota KX040-4 worked hard all day clearing, digging, and leveling through one of the toughest parts of the trail so far.

After pushing through this section, the next day should finally be a breeze compared to this one. 🚜🌲🪨
