Something a bit different...
Over the past few years, Dougie has built up a collection of 700+ of his keyboard improvisations, which he refers to as "noodles". From these, Mags has compiled various playlists, which she often uses to help her sleep. A few days ago, she suggested that he could make an "ambient playlist" album and share it with others - this is the result.
They are performed on Dougie's Roland Juno Di synthesizer - all are short impromptu pieces, played and recorded as his fingers explored the inbuilt and customised sounds of the keyboard. A couple of them include snippets of bass guitar, and there is also some of Mags's voice and Steve's flute playing on one track.
There are 26 tracks in this collection, selected by Mags, and expressing a variety of different moods. This is the complete album, lasting just under an hour.
