This is a test of the iPhone 12 Pro underwater. No waterproof housing was used. The location was a community pool in Ventura, California. According to Apple the iPhone 12 Pro can go to a depth of 19.6 feet (6 meters) for 30 minutes. According to Apple’s support page, you shouldn’t intentionally submerge the iPhone 12. I was very pleased with the results and will probably purchase an underwater housing to keep it safe and dry. If you submerge your iPhone 12 underwater you should blow out the speaker and charging ports on the bottom of the phone. They will fill up with water and can take a while to dry.
