How to Remove Broken Spoke Nipples?

Replacing the broken spoke nipples and truing the wheel from my Trek 720 Multitrack.

The only way to take out the nipple is to unscrew it from the inside of the rim. A flathead screwdriver won’t work because the spoke is sticking out, a plier won’t work either.

Find a flathead tip, grind the middle of the tip using a Dremel cutting wheel. Cut a slot with the required amount for the spoke clearance.

Use the tool and turn it counterclockwise, don’t turn too hard because you might strip it.

Replace the nipples and true the wheel.

Wheel spec: Bontrager SSR rim with Bontrager Race X Lite hub.
