Goa Fire News | 23 Killed In Midnight Fire At Goa Club, 3 Women Among Victims

At least 23 people were killed in a fire that broke out at a popular nightclub in Goa’s coastal belt, according to local officials.

Most of the victims are believed to be staff members at the club in Arpora, North Goa, though several tourists are also among the dead.

Police suspect the blaze was triggered by a gas cylinder explosion in the club’s kitchen, after which the fire rapidly spread through the premises around midnight on Saturday.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed grief over the tragedy, saying, “Today is a very painful day for all of us in Goa.”
