We noticed last year that the fan in my dad's 325i turned on and off randomly when the car was off. We knew it would be an issue we'd have to address and as expected the battery drained and the car wouldn't even turn over.
You'll need:
1. Philips screw driver
2. T20 Torx screw driver
3. Trim tool (not really necessary, but helps gain leverage)
