take-off in Sao Paulo Guarulhos in stormy conditions, the crew needed to remain seated for about 70 minutes after take-off until cabin service could begin due to multiple weather cells.
We diverted south from the standard routing direction to Rio de Janeiro to avoid the worst thunderstorm cells, then turned back north toward direct Belo Horizonte.
Nice sunrise over the alps and smooth approach and landing into Munich
Block time was 11 hours and 10 minutes
